Support when someone important to you dies
Our vision is that all bereaved children and young people who live within the region will have access to the appropriate support they need to rebuild their lives when someone important to them has died.
We work proactively to support children, young people and their families when someone important has died, guiding them in their journey through grief and helping them to develop the necessary tools to be able to move forward in their lives.
Support for children, young people, young adults & families
We put children and young people first, empowering them to move forward and succeed. We think about children and young people first in everything we do.
Our aims are to provide information and education around bereavement, serious illness and loss to children, young people, their families and professionals.
To reduce the isolation felt by bereaved children and young people by providing appropriate support around bereavement and loss to children and young people in Wakefield.
Fundraising & Volunteering Opportunities
Fundraisers, volunteers and community support are vital for us to be able to continue our work
We want to support you in whatever it is you do; fundraising should be fun (as well as financially beneficial) so do what you want to do! You could fundraise on your own, or with friends and family. You could get your school or work involved, perhaps your college, university or faith group – we will support you! We have collection tins, buckets, banners and t-shirts you can borrow.
