‘Brightening up your Friday as we present the wonderful team at Star Bereavement with a cheque from our small grants round for £16,802 

Star Bereavement are a Wakefield charity who provide bereavement support services to children and young people who live within the region. The charity give children the help they need to rebuild their lives when someone important has died 

We asked Star Bereavement what it means to get this grant from us.
“The money we’ve received enables us to fund another practitioner and take the pressure off the team with the growing number of referrals we’ve had. It also allows us to carry on addressing the taboo around grief and bereavement, as we’re the only support group for 0-25 year olds in the Wakefield District”.
