Lucas’ event was a celebration of his dad’s life, a life which revolved around a love of music and his record collection. In his memory, Lucas held a final Totally Wired night inspired by the vinyl DJ nights his dad held in 2017-18.
The night was an overwhelming success and the money raised will have a real impact on the many children suffering from loss and bereavement in the Wakefield area.
‘As many of you will know, my dad’s life revolved around a love of music and his record collection. Back in 2017-18, my Dad used to hold a vinyl DJ night at the Wakefield Beer Exchange called Totally Wired.
In his memory, we’re going to hold a final Totally Wired night for charity.
This will be at the Polka Hop pub (Wakefield) on Saturday 1st July. It will start at 7PM and run til late.
This is an open event and anybody is welcome to attend. Come along to hear some of his favourite music over the years and have a boogie.
If you would like to come along, we ask that you simply make a small donation by clicking the link below. All money raised goes to Star Bereavement. This is a local charity that supports children in Wakefield who have suffered from grief and loss. Please give generously.’
